Grandma's House..

Kennedy and I went up to Dans Mom house for a little while. We had a good time. Our first little activity was to go in the forest and cut down our Christmas Tree. We pulled Kennedy on a sled to find the perfect tree. She got tired but I carried on without her and found a great tree (finished product coming shortly).

Off to Grandmothers house...

My Grandma has been very sick lately so we took a trip up to visit her. They have this horse that Kennedy just loved. I use to ride on it when I was little.

Pretty Girl..

I made Kennedy a beaded bracelet and she loves it. Well she loves to pull it off and then chew on it. As you can see Mercedes is also very interested in what Kennedy is doing.

Just letting a little steam off...

I am addicted to two show right now; The Biggest Loser and The Amazing Race. Last night was the Biggest Loser and I can't believe that Vicky is still there. I am sure if anyone watches it you will agree with me. She is so mean and vindictive I am surprised anyone would want to be around her. I am very sad Coleen is gone. I really want Michelle to win and if not her then her Mom or Amy.

On The Amazing Race I want the Mom and Son to win. I can not wait to watch future episodes and will be sad when they are over:( If you don't watch these shows you should it is definitely worth your time.

Sick..

Since we have started the treatment for Kennedy she is feeling a lot better. Her cough is minimal and I think her ear is getting better. Thank goodness!

True Story...

Kennedy has had this horrible cough for about 2 months. We went to see the Doctor in the middle of September and she gave Kennedy some antibiotics for her runny nose and cough. The cough really didn't get better. Over time it has gotten worse and we began to get really worried. So I took her to the Dr.'s on Friday. The Doctor looked her over and thought that she might have asthma and she also had an little ear infection. They sent us home with a breathing machine for Kennedy and more antibiotics. We had to go back on Saturday. The Doctor determined that she had asthma and her ear infection had gotten extremely worse. We had to take the breathing machine home again and Kennedy got on a stronger antibiotics. We have to check back in with the Doctor on Tuesday to give them an update. I knew there has been something wrong with her ear for a while because she was always hitting it.

Anyway to the funny part. Every time we go to the Dr. the Dr. is always amazed that she is the age she is for her weight and height. She is way off the charts. On Saturday they weighed her like they do every time that we go in there. She weighed 29 lbs. 11 oz. the lady wrote it down and then did her assessment. She then left and told me to wait for the Dr. Then a few minutes later she came back in and said. I think I wrote down the weight wrong. She said I have 29lb 11oz. do you remember what it was? I said that is right and she was in shock she WOW she is a big girl. I agreed!!!

Daylight Savings Update..

As you know I was extremely worried about daylight savings time. Kennedy was always getting up around 6:30-7am and with daylight savings it would be 5:30-6am. Since the first day of daylight savings she has not gotten up earlier than 7am(8am before daylight savings). It is a miracle. I think it might be because the sun isn't shinning in her room so early but whatever it is I am HAPPY!!!!

Kennedys Big Day

Kennedy has a gym that she goes to called My Gym. It is a gym for kids where they learn different cognitive and communication skills. There is one structured class and then 2 free plays a week. Today we went to a free play. During the free play Kennedy took six steps at once by herself. I was excited but then thought about how much trouble she will be in shortly.

My little buggy..

I saved a lot of stuff from when I was a little girl. There is this brown buggy that I had saved. I have now given it to Kennedy and she loves it. Actually she is not very good at pushing it but she loves to ride in it.

Dad got tired so now it is moms turn. The dogs love to chase her around in the buggy.

Then mom got tired as well and we were done :(

Kennedy Thats Not Right.....

Our friend gave us this walker to help Kennedy get around better. Actually it helps me keep her contained. However, she doesn't like to sit in it she likes to go underneath it and push it around.

Ice Cream Ice Cream We all SCREAM for Ice Cream!!!

She may not look happy in these pictures but trust me she is very happy. She has her mothers jeans and LOVES Ice Cream. When I was growing up we would have ice cream after dinner every night. I am trying to do that but the problem is when there is ice cream in the house I eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Two Cute Cousins that Love Each Other!!!

Brandy and Crickett came down for the day before they headed to Arizona. We had a great time. I love it when they come down. They are just so fun to be around. Oh and Jaxsen he is a cutie. We want to go up to the outlets sometime so Brandy and Crickett do you have a date? That will be a lot of fun!! Can't wait!!!

Kennedy & Jaxsen had a fun time playing together. Kennedy didn't ruff him up too much:) It is just so fun to see them together. I want them to be close cousins.

Maybe I shouldn't have gone early...

I had to wait almost an hour and a half voting a couple of days ago. Today I have driven by several voting places and there is hardly any car and no lines. What the heck. Looks like voting early might have not been the best thing. :(

Happy Halloween!!!

We took Kennedy trick or treating and she had a blast. She loved to see all the kids running around. We took her to a couple house so her Mom and Dad could have some candy:) We only passed out candy for about 15 minutes and we were all out. There were so many kids I couldn't even believe it. Looks like we are going to have to stock up big time for next year. I can't wait to take her again next year.
