Kennedy Loves Elmo

On Friday I took Kennedy to her gym and they had Elmo there. I was worried that she was going to cry because of how she acted toward Santa. At first she was a little reluctant but then she couldn't stop being by him. I am sure she is in many peoples pictures.

Kennedy's Baby

Grandma Carol & Papa Morgan got Kennedy her first Cabbage Patch Doll for her birthday. It has brown hair and blue eyes just like her. She was very excited. I of courses wanted to keep it in the box and save it for years and years. I just love Cabbage Patch Dolls. I have mine from when I was young and when she gets a little bit older I will let her play with it.

Papa also got Kennedy her first riding horse. Here is it when it wasn't put together. Pictures with her riding it to come later!

Lets Go Swimming..

I signed Kennedy up for swim lessons again. She loves the water. She is a little bit more timid than last time I think it is because she understands fear more. She takes it with her cousin Trey. They have a great time!

Treehouse Museum Part 2...

I bought a pass to the Treehouse Museum so Kennedy and I had something to do. She loves it there. This was our first trip to the museum.

Kennedy is too funny!!

Yesterday, I discovered an unusually behavior. First off Kennedy hates us to change her diaper. So yesterday i was messing around and said lets change your babies diaper. I attempted to put the diaper on the baby and she started to cry and freak out. She then came over and got her diaper changed. She has done this every time since when I try to put the diaper on the baby. i am not sure if she is doing it because she doesn't want the baby to be put through the "torture" of getting your diaper changed. Or just because she wants the diaper and doesn't want the baby to have it. Hum.....

My Dad gave my brother a Mac laptop and my brother had a brand new HP laptop which he gave me. So now I have a new laptop and I am loving it. It has been a while since I could actually get on the Internet without it taking forever to upload something. Our desktop has a lot of viruses that we can't seem to get rid of.

The laptop couldn't have come at a better time because I have decided to start my own accounting practice from home. I have been doing it on the side for years but have finally decided to do it on my own. I will be doing taxes and bookkeeping for individuals and small businesses so if anyone knows of people needing my services send them my way :).

For Brandy...

{Poor Ox}

Yesterday we took Ox our oldest dog to the Vet. He had to be put under sedation to get his toe nails clipped down. When he goes to the groomer they are unable to clip his toenails because he is such a baby so they have grown really long.

Dan took him to the Vet and and they weighed him and they said he weighed 107 pounds. We couldn't believe it. He should only be 80 pounds. So now he needs to go on a diet. After they were done we got a call and the lady told me that she got them as best as she could but he was fighting her even in his sleep. I laughed pretty hard. When he got home he was in a lot of pain. I felt really bad for him. He will now be on a diet!!!

Yes... Kennedy is still a Baby...

Kennedy I guess is officially a toddler. I really don't like that. I still want her to be a baby. It is funny how when they are young you wish them older and when they are older you wish they are younger. I however have learned to live in the moment and have really been able to enjoy her more than ever.

Kennedy got a doll for Christmas and she thinks that she can get in the babies bed. Little does she know she is WAY too BIG for it. She still enjoys getting in it.

Pebre

My sister-in-Law Claudia is from Chile and makes the BEST salsa in the world called pebre. She gave me the recipe and I tried making it for the first time and..................... it is not as good as hers but still good!

New Years Resolution...

Yes..... We are Lame...

Last night we were all sick and we basically did nothing. Dan was very sick, took a bath and then we watched some T.V. We went to bed around 10 p.m. Dan went to bed soon after his head hit the pillow; however I couldn't really sleep (due to the snoring he says he doesn't do). I was awaken at midnight to the neighbors screaming, beating on pots and pans and letting off fireworks. They seemed to be having a great time. I have never been a huge New Years Eve celebrator but once Kennedy is old enough we will make sure she has a fun time!!!
