I was up at my Grandpas about a month or so ago and he showed me these green bags. You put your fruit and veggies in it and they stay good longer. He was in shock that I didn't have these. He had lettuce in the fridge that was 1 month old and it still looked really good. If you don't have the green bags you should really get them it is a great investment. You can get them at Bed Bath and Beyond for $10.
The banana on the left was in the green bag and the one on the right was just on my counter.
