Goofing Off

Kennedy loves to play on the stairs. She has had a couple of accidents but overall does very well. At first we tried to keep her off the stairs but she always found a way up them. So we decided it was best just to teach her how to go up and down safely. For the most part it has worked out!!

{Christmas}

This was Kennedy's 2nd Christmas but for the first one she was only a week old. This Christmas she enjoyed opening presents and playing with her toys. It was really fun to watch how excited she got. She just keep repeating "Whats That?" She got some fun toys: A drum, My Little Pony, 2 dolls, cell phone, telephone, laptop(which is her favorite next to the drum), lots of books, a little bike (which she is already too big for :( ), a musical purse and much more. I can't wait until next Christmas!

Daddy's Little Girl. She just loves her Dad soooo much. She loves to follow him around and say "Hi Dad!"

Kennedy's Birthday Party

Kennedy had a great first Birthday Party. We ate lunch and then played some games. We played ring around the roses, hot potato, London bridge and twister. Then we opened presents and had cake and ice cream. She loved all of her presents!!!

Tim and Claudia came to the Birthday party along with others but I was bad at taking pictures and didn't get anyone else :( Claudia is due in June. They are having a boy!!

My New FAVORITE Item...

I was up at my Grandpas about a month or so ago and he showed me these green bags. You put your fruit and veggies in it and they stay good longer. He was in shock that I didn't have these. He had lettuce in the fridge that was 1 month old and it still looked really good. If you don't have the green bags you should really get them it is a great investment. You can get them at Bed Bath and Beyond for $10.

The banana on the left was in the green bag and the one on the right was just on my counter.

Gingerbread House..

We went over to my Moms so Kennedy could make a gingerbread house. She ended up taking a nap pretty much the whole time so Dan and I helped with the house.

When Kennedy got up from her nap she wanted to eat the candy and cuddle with Daddy!!

Kennedy's Bday

Kennedy had a long and fun birthday. It started off with just hanging out around the house with me singing Happy Birthday to her all the time. Then we went to her gym class (which she LOVES!!) . Then we went and got her pictures taken which she didn't like too much. Then we came home ate dinner had birthday cake and opened her present. We gave her an Elmo Live. She has mixed feelings about him. One minute she loves him the next minute she is scared of him.
