I saw this on another blog and wanted to do it.
How old were you when you had your 1st baby? 29
When was your due date? December 17, 2007
When was your baby actually born? December 18, 2007 at 3am
Was this a planned pregnancy? Uh NO
When and how did you find out that you were pregnant? I was in Vegas. I went out with my friend Tarra and I was telling her have been sick the whole time. She said it sounds like you are pregnant. I told her it was impossible. Well, we went to Walgreens and bought a pregnancy test. I went into the bathroom and and took the test and it was positive. I sat on the floor shaking thinking what the heck am I going to do? How did this happen??? I called Dan and he didn't believe me and then I told him oh yes it is true. I didn't say anything to anyone until I got back home and took another pregnancy test. I think there was 3 in total. I was FREAKING out!!! I went to the Dr. and was 8 weeks pregnant. Who knew!!!
Did you have any strange pregnancy cravings? Not really. I ate everything.
Did you have any complications during your pregnancy? No Thank goodness!!
Did you go into labor on your own? Yes but No. I was having contractions but apparently they weren't strong enough. Well I was dying. I think I have little pain tolerance. I was a 2 and they gave me an epidural and started patosin.
What brand of diapers do/did you buy? Huggies
Do/did you nurse or bottle feed? My milk didn't come in. So formula.
Will you have more? Hopefully only one more. We really want a boy and Dan will not let me stop until we have a little baby Josh. So please everyone pray for me that my next one will be a boy because I think 2 kids is enough.
How long were you in labor? TOO long I don't know 12 hours but I only felt pain for the first 2 hours. I sleep a lot.
Did you get an epidural? Uh Yes do I look CRAZY!!!
Did you find out the gender before birth? Yes!!!
Did you have a baby shower? YES
Who was in the delivery room with you? Dan and Dans mom waited outside. Once Kennedy was born I couldn't find him. He took off. Apparently he went outside and threw up. Kennedy was born on her birthday. What a GREAT present!!
Did you have a c-section? NO
Do/did you keep a baby journal? Not really that is what a blog is for. I am actually going to get it printed into a book on http://www.blurb.com/ That is really why I do blogs. It is like a journal except you don't get what I am really thinking.
How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy? Too much. Around 40 lbs
Do you have any keepsakes? Just pictures and the wrist bands from the hospital .
Did you suffer from “morning sickness” during your pregnancy? Can you be pregnant without morning sickness. Actually I was sick all day everyday. I was on Meds for that. What a life saver. What were your baby’s stats at birth? 8 lbs 3 oz, 21 inches long born Wednesday December 18, 2007 at 2:49 am. (I Think)
What music did you listen to most during your pregnancy? Gwen Stefani and now I really can't listen to it without feeling sick. I know I have mental problems.
What was the best thing about being pregnant? Feeling her move and the end result. HER!!! What was the best thing about your baby’s birth? Realizing that I was finally becoming a mother! Looking at her it was the most amazing feeling in the world. I have never felt that before.
What has been the best thing about motherhood so far? Watching Kennedy through every stage of his life so far. I am sad because she is growing up too fast.
